Mark Shafer oversees Marketing at RMA, a member-driven organization dedicated to advancing the use of sound risk principles within the financial services industry. Prior to RMA, Mark was SVP and Executive Director of the in-house agency at Bank of America where he led the development and operationalization of marketing communications for a range of bank products and services. Before Bank of America, Mark held senior account-management positions at leading New York advertising agencies including Grey Direct, Chiat/Day, Ammirati & Puris, and Rapp Collins. Mark has worked on a variety of accounts including BMW, Chase Manhattan Bank, Domino’s Pizza, UPS, and the National Basketball Association. Mark is also a former Chairman and current Member of the Board of Directors at IHAF (In-House Agency Forum), a national membership organization for in-house agencies (https://www.ihaforum.org).
