Allan Haley is Director of Words & Letters at Monotype. Here he is involved in all aspects of building and maintaining the company’s typeface library. Mr. Haley is also responsible for educational content for the company’s web sites and is an important link between Monotype and the graphic design and design education communities.

Mr. Haley is ex officio Chairman of the Board of the Society of Typographic Aficionados, and past President of the New York Type Directors Club. Mr. Haley is also a prolific writer, with six books on type and graphic communication and hundreds of articles to his credit.
